  1. WELCOME TO THE ADOBE(R) GRAPHICS AND PUBLISHING SDK.

  3. Here's the stuff you need to know:

  6. * We have provided the SDK's to you in two formats. You can either drag the open
  7. files directly to your hard drive or you can use the installers located in the
  8. EXTRAS folder. 
  9.  
  10. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PAGEMAKER 6.5 SDK INSTALLER IS NOT AVAILABLE.

  12. If you choose to drag the open files to your hard drive, please note that we have
  13. provided a file named WELCOME.PDF. This file will allow you to navigate the
  14. SDK's. If you choose to use the installer versions, only the SDK's will be in-
  15. stalled into a folder on your hard disk named ADOBE. The WELCOME.PDF and support
  16. documents will not be included.

  19. * Install the Acrobat(R) Reader software included on this CD onto your hard
  20. drive. If you currently have Acrobat Exchange on your hard drive, please make
  21. sure to load the Search Plug-in(AcroSearch or Acrobat Search) that is located in
  22. the optional plug-ins folder or directory with Exchange. Simply drag it to your
  23. plug-ins folder in Acrobat Exchange. We have indexed the PDF files in the SDK's
  24. to be used by the search feature in Acrobat.
